Your real name

A nice article in the Atlanta Journal under the header “More people forgo anonymity and sign on with real name”:

“I personally don’t see why you shouldn’t be yourself,” said David Pogue, New York Times tech columnist, in an e-mail. He even wrestled “DavidPogue” back from an impostor on Twitter. “I always use my own name as my handle. If you have nothing to hide, why not?”

It signals a trend we also see and believe in. That’s why we designed our service in such a way that it enables you to control and manage your online identity in the most personal way, i.e. by hosting it under a personal domain such as www.yourname.com that also serves as your OpenID, i.e. your personal single sign-on for the Web.
